Have you ever felt like you’re just going through the motions — showing up, getting things done, but feeling disconnected from yourself?

Maybe you’ve noticed that even when life looks “fine” on the outside, something inside you feels off. You catch yourself zoning out, feeling tired for no clear reason, or wondering why certain things keep bothering you.

I get it. Life can move so fast that we stop paying attention to what’s really going on inside us. We start to live on autopilot — until one day, we realize we’ve lost touch with who we are and what truly matters to us.

I believe that paying attention to yourself is one of the best ways to take care of yourself. When you slow down, listen, and get curious about what’s beneath the surface, you begin to understand yourself in a deeper way. That self-awareness helps you reconnect with your “why” — the deeper reasons behind what you do, what you want, and what feels meaningful to you.

In therapy, I want to help you pause and reflect — to notice what’s been asking for your attention. Whether you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or just wanting to know yourself better, we’ll work together to make sense of what’s happening inside.

Because when you understand your “why,” life starts to feel more grounded and purposeful. You make choices that align with who you are. You show up differently — with clarity, peace, and a stronger sense of self. And you begin to offer yourself the same care and attention you’ve been giving everyone else.

Hey, I’m Ted

Ever catch yourself running through life on autopilot? Doing what you’re “supposed” to do, but deep down feeling disconnected, restless, or unsure what’s missing? You’re not broken — you’ve just lost touch with yourself for a bit. It happens to all of us.

I work with people who want to slow down, make sense of what they’re feeling, and reconnect with who they are. You might look like you’ve got it together — but inside, you’re tired, distracted, or stuck in your own head. Therapy can be a place to pause and notice what’s actually going on beneath the surface.

In our sessions, I use approaches that help you tune in — to your emotions, your patterns, your story. We’ll explore what’s been shaping how you think and feel, without judgment or pressure to “fix” everything overnight.

My goal is to help you understand yourself on a deeper level — to find your “why,” and to live in a way that feels real and grounded. When you start paying attention to yourself, things begin to shift. You find clarity. You show up differently. You start to feel like yourself again.

Let’s slow things down, one conversation at a time.

My Specialized Approach

I know starting therapy can feel uncertain. You might be wondering what to expect, if it’s really going to help, or if it’s just another thing on your list that won’t make much of a difference. That’s completely okay to feel.

Therapy, to me, is a space to slow down and be real — no judgment, no pressure to have it all figured out. It’s a chance to take off the mask, to stop performing, and to notice what’s been happening underneath the surface. Sometimes that means understanding old patterns that keep repeating. Other times, it’s about learning how to listen to yourself in a way you never have before.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Everyone’s story and pace are different, and that’s how I approach the work. I integrate mindfulness-based approaches, attachment work, and trauma-informed care — all with the goal of helping you become more self-aware, centered, and connected.

One of the tools I often use is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). It’s a gentle but powerful way to help your brain and body process experiences that still carry emotional weight. The best part? You don’t have to relive every painful detail for it to work. EMDR helps create distance from the pain so you can respond to life with more calm and clarity.

If you’re curious about how therapy — or EMDR — could help you reconnect with yourself, let’s talk about it in a free consultation. There’s no pressure, just a space to explore what might help you start feeling more like yourself again.
